Iran US talks remain stalled, as Iranian officials say no negotiations are possible currently. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Sunday that Tehran sees no constructive or positive approach from Washington. He emphasized that talks could only happen under conditions of equality and mutual benefit.

Araghchi explained that Iran has observed a lack of readiness from the United States for meaningful dialogue. He stated that discussions are not feasible unless Washington demonstrates a genuine commitment to fair negotiations. Iran will consider talks only when the U.S. engages in a framework ensuring equality and shared interests.

The minister stressed that dialogue would only proceed on an equal footing. He reiterated that Iran seeks agreements that benefit both sides rather than one-sided concessions. “Whenever the Americans are prepared for negotiations grounded in equality and shared interests, Iran will examine the possibility,” Araghchi said.

This statement comes amid rising tensions between Tehran and Washington over nuclear policies and regional security. Iran has repeatedly called for respect for sovereignty and balanced treatment in international talks. Analysts note that past negotiations have often stalled due to disagreements over sanctions and nuclear commitments.

Experts suggest that without substantial policy shifts from both sides, meaningful discussions remain unlikely. Political analysts warn that failure to engage could heighten regional instability and hurt economic opportunities. Moreover, the absence of dialogue affects global markets, especially in energy and trade sectors connected to Iran.

Araghchi’s comments clarify Iran’s position, signaling a firm stance on negotiation principles. He emphasized that dialogue must produce tangible benefits for both nations. Officials expect that unless the U.S. demonstrates a constructive approach, future discussions will remain off the agenda.

Looking ahead, the international community is closely monitoring these developments. Observers highlight that meaningful engagement requires trust, equality, and clear objectives. Until these conditions are met, Iran US talks are unlikely to resume.

Overall, the Iranian government maintains that only structured, fair, and mutually advantageous discussions can pave the way for future negotiations. Tehran’s insistence on equal treatment and shared outcomes underscores its approach to diplomacy.
