Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Iran is fully ready to answer any attack, especially from Israel. He says the country improved its defenses after a recent 12-day conflict. He describes Iran as stronger and more secure than before.

Araghchi explains that Iran studied the conflict closely. He says the country improved its missile program in both number and accuracy. He adds that Iran placed its missiles in better strategic positions.

He states that Iran is “even more prepared than in the previous war.” He says peace depends on strength. “The best way to prevent a war is to be prepared for it. And we are fully prepared,” he says.

Araghchi also notes Russia’s support during the conflict. He says the two countries now share a deeper strategic partnership. He compares this to what he calls the unreliable behavior of Western governments.

On the nuclear issue, Araghchi says Iran remains committed to peaceful nuclear work. He says Iran welcomes a fair and balanced agreement. He rejects any form of pressure from other countries, especially the United States. He says past talks with the United States showed repeated broken promises.

Araghchi argues that the nuclear dispute began when the United States left the JCPOA and reimposed sanctions. He says Iran followed the deal, while the United States increased pressure. He adds that European countries failed to meet their duties after giving in to U.S. demands.

He says Iran has shown patience for many years. He also says Iran will not accept demands from others. “We are ready for negotiation, but not for dictation,” he says.
