Iran military power was highlighted during a 12-day conflict with Israel. The IRGC spokesman said that if the war had lasted two more weeks, nothing would have remained of the Israeli regime.

Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, IRGC spokesman and deputy for public relations, spoke at a conference at Farhangian University. He said Iran relied solely on its own capabilities during the conflict. This approach allowed Iran to impose defeat on the enemy.

Naeini stressed the role of popular mobilization through the Basij. He described it as a unifying force and a key pillar of national power. He added that systems disconnected from citizens are vulnerable to collapse.

He explained Iran’s long-term military strategy. Continuous threats over the past four decades, including the Iran-Iraq war, shaped a doctrine of defensive, self-reliant, and asymmetric power. Naeini also said evolving threats require investment in longer-range missiles and new capabilities.

Iran coordinated security closely with neighboring states. Regional countries immediately condemned Israel’s attack. Naeini praised young missile scientists, averaging 30 years old, for advancing Iran’s defense capabilities at a high level.

Reviewing the conflict, Naeini said Israel launched a sudden, coordinated attack on June 13. The aggression occurred during nuclear negotiations with the United States. The 12-day war killed more than 1,064 Iranians, including military leaders, scientists, and civilians.

Iranian forces struck at least 45 strategic targets. They inflicted substantial damage and forced Israel to halt hostilities. Naeini said Iran military power is now stronger than during the conflict. He emphasized that Iran acted independently and countered narratives of weakness.

This demonstration of Iran military power shows its growing strategic influence. Experts suggest Tehran will continue strengthening self-reliant defense systems to maintain readiness for future threats.
