Women’s dignity stood at the center of a large gathering of thousands of Iranian women and girls. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei emphasized that God created all people from a man and a woman. Therefore, both genders share equal value. He noted that women shape society as much as men and play a central role in moral, social, and family life.

Khamenei pointed to Quranic role models, including the wife of Pharaoh and Mary, the daughter of Imran. Their actions guide people toward moral clarity. They demonstrate strength, faith, and patience. As a result, both men and women can learn important lessons from their stories about resilience and virtue.

A woman manages her home, but she is not a servant. Described as a flower, she deserves care, respect, and appreciation. Furthermore, gentle attention strengthens unity and harmony in the family. A hadith also portrays a woman as a flower in the home.

Women are entitled to honor, justice, and protection. Some capitalist societies overlook these rights. In contrast, Islamic values demand fairness in both family and society. Thus, families and governments must safeguard these rights. Women deserve equitable treatment in all areas of life.

Creating strong families is a duty shared by men and women. However, modern Western culture can weaken families. It often masks social problems behind the term “freedom.” As a result, many children grow up without support, facing loneliness, social instability, or crime.

Islam regards men and women as spiritual equals. Moreover, good deeds hold equal value for both genders. Women can pursue education, work, and public life while observing moral limits. These boundaries, in turn, help protect individuals and communities.

Khamenei criticized Western culture for treating women as objects. In contrast, Islamic teachings grant women dignity, respect, and identity. Protecting women’s dignity is essential in all areas of life. Additionally, families play a vital role in upholding moral values that strengthen society.

He praised Iranian women for achievements in science, sports, education, and public life. Many succeed while observing hijab. This shows that modesty does not hinder personal or professional growth.

Finally, Ayatollah Khamenei noted that Western culture often hides corruption under claims of freedom. However, true freedom protects families and encourages moral responsibility. Women’s dignity remains a central value. Therefore, it forms the foundation of strong families, cohesive communities, and a just society.
