Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that no conditions currently exist for renewed Iran-US talks. He stressed that the United States’ current policies make negotiations impossible. Araghchi made the remarks during a press briefing at a cabinet session on Wednesday. Araghchi clarified that Tehran has never abandoned dialogue. He emphasized that Iran remains ready for negotiations based on mutual respect and shared interests. However, he added that the U.S. government’s present approach prevents meaningful discussions. These statements highlight the continued stalemate in Iran-US talks.

Iran-US talks have faced repeated delays over recent years. Previous attempts, including nuclear discussions, stalled amid disagreements over policy and regional security. Analysts say Tehran’s position reflects broader challenges in international diplomacy. Araghchi’s comments show Iran’s insistence on negotiating from a position of principle. Araghchi criticized U.S. policies that he said obstruct productive dialogue. He argued that Washington’s current stance creates an environment unsuitable for negotiations. Experts note that without a shift in U.S. policy, Iran-US talks are unlikely to resume soon. Tehran appears focused on maintaining a firm stance until conditions improve.

Observers predict that Iran-US talks will remain on hold until Washington addresses Tehran’s concerns. Tehran continues to stress equality, mutual respect, and strategic interest as conditions for meaningful negotiations. Meanwhile, international analysts are closely watching the situation for its potential impact on regional stability and global markets. Iran-US talks may dominate future diplomatic discussions. Tehran’s firm position suggests dialogue will only resume when conditions align with Iran’s strategic objectives.
