Hormozgan exports have surged in the first ten months of the current Iranian year. Officials report that more than five million tons of goods left the province’s ports. This includes both oil and non-oil products, showing steady growth compared to last year. Amin Sadeghi, the director of the Ports and Maritime Organization of Western Hormozgan province, confirmed the total exports reached 5,416,805 tons. He said this marks a two percent increase from the same period last year. Hormozgan exports now show a consistent upward trend, boosting the local economy and trade.

Of the total exports, more than three million tons came from non-oil products. The remaining over two million tons consisted of oil products. This balance highlights the growing diversity of goods leaving the provincial ports. Sadeghi pointed out that non-oil exports alone recorded a 22 percent rise from last year. The increase in Hormozgan exports demonstrates the province’s improving trade capacity. Ports in Western Hormozgan have been expanding infrastructure and upgrading facilities to handle larger shipments efficiently. These efforts help local businesses reach international markets more quickly.

Experts note that the steady rise in non-oil exports strengthens the region’s economic resilience. Diversifying products ensures the province does not rely solely on oil revenue. Businesses benefit from new trade opportunities, and the local workforce sees more employment options. Trade officials expect Hormozgan exports to continue growing. Plans are underway to increase shipping capacity and streamline port operations. Authorities aim to attract more international buyers and support local producers. The growth trend shows that investments in port management are paying off.

The export success also highlights the region’s strategic location. Hormozgan ports serve as key gateways for goods traveling overseas. By expanding export operations, the province improves trade connections with foreign markets. In conclusion, Hormozgan exports are rising steadily. Both oil and non-oil products are reaching more international markets. Continued investment in ports and trade infrastructure promises stronger growth in the future. Hormozgan exports are proving to be a major driver of economic development. The province continues to build on this momentum, preparing for even higher trade volumes.
