Speaking at a ceremony celebrating the national space industry, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh highlighted how Iran aims to strengthen space independence for future challenges. He noted that space is becoming a new arena for global influence and geopolitical strategy. “In recent months, documents worldwide have encouraged powers to project influence from afar, without physical presence,” Nasirzadeh said. He stressed that Iran seeks to maintain its own capabilities while collaborating efficiently across its space projects.

Nasirzadeh explained that creating synergy in the space field allows for faster progress and more efficient resource use. “When teams work together and combine expertise, achievements come more quickly,” he added. The minister also encouraged young scientists and engineers to focus on space independence as a key national goal. Meanwhile, Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, announced that the country will showcase twenty major nuclear and scientific achievements during national celebrations. These accomplishments span medicine, health, environmental protection, and industry.

He said, “This product places Iran among a few leading countries with this advanced medical technology.” He emphasized that scientific development in nuclear medicine complements Iran’s overall technological progress. Both officials emphasized the link between scientific independence and national security. They pointed out that space independence allows Iran to act without relying on external powers, and it strengthens national pride and technological capability.

In addition, the ceremony included discussions on future space projects, highlighting the importance of research, innovation, and international collaboration. Nasirzadeh stressed that Iran’s strategy focuses on both independence and cooperation. Experts attending the event underlined that maintaining space independence while fostering partnerships can help Iran advance in both civilian and defense technologies. They noted that synergy across sectors accelerates development and ensures long-term sustainability. Overall, Iran is moving forward in multiple fields, aiming to combine scientific achievements with national security priorities. Officials reiterated that space independence and innovation remain at the heart of these efforts, ensuring the country can meet future challenges confidently.
