Iran Confirms Upcoming Nuclear Talks With United States in Oman

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced plans for nuclear talks in Oman during official remarks. He said Iran and the United States will meet in Muscat to discuss the nuclear issue. Moreover, he described the upcoming meeting as an important diplomatic step. Araghchi shared the announcement through a public message. He stated that discussions will take place in the Omani capital. Additionally, he praised Oman for supporting dialogue between the two sides.

According to Araghchi, Oman played a key role in arranging the meeting. Therefore, he expressed gratitude to Omani officials for their cooperation. He said Oman helped provide a suitable environment for talks. Furthermore, Araghchi stressed that dialogue remains essential for addressing disagreements. He explained that negotiations help reduce tensions. At the same time, he said Iran continues to defend its national interests.

Iranian officials have repeatedly supported diplomacy over confrontation. Consequently, the planned meeting reflects Tehran’s ongoing strategy. He also noted that diplomacy requires patience and consistency. Likewise, he urged all parties to avoid pressure tactics. He said constructive engagement offers better results.

Later in his remarks, Araghchi again described the upcoming talks as a serious opportunity. He explained that open communication can clarify misunderstandings. Additionally, he said negotiations can help prevent escalation. Iranian officials continue to stress independence in decision-making. Nevertheless, they remain open to dialogue. Araghchi said talks do not mean surrendering principles.

Finally, Araghchi repeated his appreciation for Oman’s efforts. He said the host country ensured smooth coordination. He added that hospitality supports productive dialogue. As discussions approach, attention remains focused on the talks and their possible outcomes. Iran insists diplomacy remains central to its foreign policy approach.
