Jordan confirmed that it will not allow its land to support attacks against Iran. Jordanian officials announced this, and state media reported it. In particular, an official, speaking anonymously, said Jordan will not let anyone use its soil as a base for military action against Iran.

Moreover, the official added that Jordan hopes the ongoing talks between the United States and Iran will produce a political agreement. Such an agreement, he said, could help keep the region safe and prevent war. Meanwhile, other Jordanian officials, also speaking anonymously, stressed that the U.S. military in Jordan follows existing defense agreements. They explained that these agreements only cover defense and do not involve attacks on Iran.

Jordan maintains strong ties with both the United States and neighboring countries. The nation often promotes diplomacy and negotiation to avoid conflicts. Analysts also note that Jordan wants to stay neutral amid rising tensions and prevent foreign conflicts from involving its territory. The Middle East faces growing concerns over military tensions. Countries in the region closely watch foreign troop movements and alliances. Therefore, Jordan’s announcement may reassure its neighbors that its land will not support attacks on Iran or other countries.

In addition, experts say Jordan focuses on regional stability. By confirming it will not allow attacks from its territory, Jordan sends a clear message to both Iran and the United States. The country encourages peaceful solutions and supports diplomatic efforts. Although no new military operations are underway, Jordan’s position shows its commitment to international law and regional security. Furthermore, the country continues to advocate dialogue and seeks agreements that prevent conflict escalation.

Ultimately, Jordan’s firm stance may influence ongoing U.S.-Iran negotiations and reassure countries across the region that it will maintain strict neutrality. This position demonstrates Jordan’s commitment to stability and security, while reflecting its long-term strategy to promote lasting peace, prevent conflicts, and support diplomatic solutions throughout the Middle East.
