The Iran conflict update continues as the United States and Israel struck Iran’s Isfahan city, killing at least 15 people. The escalation marks the 16th day of intense fighting.

Residential areas in Shiraz, the capital of Fars province, also faced attacks, causing civilian casualties and widespread damage. Authorities report that over 10,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed.

The conflict began on February 28 with U.S.-Israeli strikes targeting Iranian military sites. Since then, more than 1,400 people have died in Iran. Officials say the strikes hit over 15,000 targets, averaging more than 1,000 per day.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched retaliatory missile and drone attacks across Gulf countries. The IRGC called the operations its “50th wave” and targeted bases in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

In northwest Iran, authorities arrested 20 individuals accused of sharing military and security information with Israel. Prosecutors said the arrests aimed to prevent further espionage and protect sensitive sites.

U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran wants to negotiate but rejected the terms, calling for a coalition to secure the Strait of Hormuz. He asked allies, including China, to deploy warships to the strategic waterway.

In the Gulf, missile and drone strikes caused casualties in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE. Iran also launched attacks on U.S. installations and strategic facilities in the region. Authorities intercepted most missiles in Qatar, limiting damage.

Lebanon faced intensified conflict as Hezbollah fired missiles at Israeli positions. Israeli air raids in southern Lebanese towns killed at least five people, including children. Thousands have been displaced, and essential infrastructure has been damaged.

International observers note that the Iran conflict update shows rising regional tensions. Security analysts warn that prolonged strikes and retaliatory measures could further destabilize the Middle East.

The conflict has already affected global oil markets. Experts predict that any escalation near the Strait of Hormuz could disrupt international shipping and fuel prices.

Officials in Iraq and Jordan urged citizens to stay cautious. U.S. authorities advised all Americans to leave Iraq, citing threats from Iran-aligned militias.

The Iran conflict update highlights a volatile situation with wide-reaching humanitarian and geopolitical consequences. Analysts expect further military and diplomatic developments in the coming weeks.
