Iranian rallies have surged across major cities, showing widespread public support against foreign aggression. Consequently, Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, dismissed claims by Donald Trump that these gatherings were artificially generated. He emphasized that the events reflect genuine popular sentiment, not artificial intelligence. In addition, Larijani drew a historical parallel to statements made during the 1979 Islamic Revolution. At that time, officials from the Pahlavi era falsely suggested that street demonstrations were staged using tape recordings. Therefore, Larijani argued that Trump’s remarks mirror this historical refusal to recognize the people’s voice.

Moreover, the Iranian rallies follow the joint U.S.-Israeli offensive on February 28, which targeted Tehran and other cities. The attacks killed senior leaders, including the late Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, military commanders, and numerous civilians. In response, Iran launched missile and drone operations against multiple U.S. and Israeli facilities across West Asia. Larijani also highlighted the scale of the demonstrations, noting that millions of citizens filled streets nationwide. He further stressed that these rallies demonstrate the resilience and unity of the Iranian population. Additionally, he suggested that the “historic victory over the remnants of the Epstein Island network is approaching,” linking national security achievements to public mobilization.

Experts argue that the size and coordination of the rallies indicate strong social cohesion and political engagement. Furthermore, analysts suggest that dismissing the gatherings as AI-generated undermines the understanding of grassroots mobilization in Iran. They also note that the rallies signal to foreign governments the depth of Iranian public sentiment. The ongoing Iranian rallies are significant for regional stability and international relations. For example, they reflect public opposition to external military actions and emphasize Iran’s determination to protect its sovereignty. Officials warn that such events may influence diplomatic negotiations and future security measures across West Asia.

Looking ahead, Iran plans additional demonstrations to mark national solidarity. Officials indicate that these events will continue while military and diplomatic responses unfold. Consequently, Larijani concluded that foreign powers should recognize the authenticity and scale of Iranian rallies. Through sustained participation, Iranian rallies have reaffirmed the power of mass civic engagement. Moreover, Larijani’s statements highlight both historical lessons and modern realities. Thus, the rallies underscore the importance of recognizing public sentiment and signal that Iran intends to maintain a firm stance against external pressure.
