Iranian Brigadier General Mohammad Karami highlighted Persian Gulf readiness during a visit to strategic islands in the region. He stated that Iranian forces are fully prepared to respond to any hostile action. Karami inspected military bases and met with soldiers stationed on Kharg Island. He emphasized that the troops would react decisively to any aggression. The visit reinforced the commitment of Iranian forces to protect vital national infrastructure.

Meanwhile, a delegation from Iran’s Parliament Energy Committee also visited the islands. The team included the committee head, Mousa Ahmadi, and representatives Ahmad Moradi, Sayyed Mousa Mousavi, and Jafar Pourkapkani. They toured oil and petrochemical facilities, the Kharg oil terminal, and the island’s oil hospital. The lawmakers discussed operational issues and potential improvements with staff. Hosseini, the committee spokesperson, confirmed that oil industry personnel are performing their duties without disruption. He noted that morale remains high among employees despite recent attacks.

Earlier, American fighter jets targeted multiple petrochemical sites on Kharg Island. The strike occurred amid ongoing regional tensions, which included attacks on Tehran and key Iranian leadership. In response, Iranian armed forces launched counter‑operations targeting U.S. bases. Reports indicated damage to aircraft and avionic systems, including several A‑130 refueling transport planes.

Experts say Persian Gulf readiness is critical due to the region’s strategic importance in global energy supply. Kharg Island serves as a key hub for Iran’s oil exports, making it a focal point in regional security planning. Analysts emphasize that ensuring operational continuity safeguards both national energy infrastructure and global markets. The visit by Parliament officials signals strong oversight and collaboration between lawmakers and defense authorities. By inspecting facilities and engaging with staff, the delegation aimed to identify priorities for government and parliamentary support.

Looking ahead, Karami reiterated that forces remain vigilant. Authorities will continue monitoring the situation and maintaining defensive measures. The combination of military preparedness and parliamentary oversight ensures both security and resilience. Persian Gulf readiness remains a central theme in Iran’s strategy. By sustaining high alert and operational efficiency, authorities aim to deter potential aggression and protect vital national interests. The presence of lawmakers and military leaders reinforces the importance of continued collaboration in safeguarding the region.
