Iran’s Intelligence Ministry arrested 39 individuals identified as Iran mercenaries. Authorities said foreign-backed terror groups recruited them to threaten national security. According to officials, 27 of the detainees belonged to two terrorist groups. One operative tried to establish an operational cell in Sistan and Baluchestan province.
