Iran diplomacy talks are ongoing as Tehran confirms it received messages from the United States. Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, stated that the messages reached Iran through intermediaries. He emphasized, however, that Washington has not shown serious intentions for direct diplomacy. Baghaei explained that the communication arrived via neighboring countries, including Pakistan. He clarified that past experiences indicate U.S. officials often take a tactical approach during diplomatic discussions. Therefore, Tehran remains cautious in evaluating these contacts.

In addition, Baghaei addressed concerns regarding Iran’s nuclear program. He reassured that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons and that the country’s nuclear initiatives are peaceful. He stressed that the current regional tensions are focused on Iran and neighboring areas, and external consequences can also affect the wider region. Furthermore, Baghaei highlighted Iran’s military readiness. He said that Iranian forces are prepared for any scenario. He also warned adversaries that any aggressive action would face a strong response. This statement signals Tehran’s commitment to defending its security interests.

The Iranian official noted that regional instability stems partly from actions by the United States and Israel. Baghaei mentioned the impact on maritime security in the Gulf of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz. These developments pose risks to global trade and energy supply. Experts suggest that continued uncertainty in Iran-U.S. relations could influence global oil prices. Analysts believe that diplomatic channels, if pursued seriously, may reduce the risk of escalation. Observers also expect that regional nations will closely monitor Tehran’s next moves.

Iran diplomacy talks show that dialogue is occurring but serious engagement is still absent. Tehran emphasizes caution while maintaining regional defense readiness. Meanwhile, the international community watches for any shifts that could impact economic stability and security. Iran diplomacy talks remain a central focus as Washington and Tehran navigate complex diplomatic and strategic challenges. Observers note that ongoing communication, even if indirect, is crucial for preventing further tensions in the region.
