The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that repeated international actions jeopardize the ongoing diplomatic process aimed at securing regional stability. Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei stated that continuous military activities directly hinder communication channels between negotiating governments. Consequently, Tehran plans to review its participation in future bilateral discussions because current conditions prevent productive dialogue.

Baghaei emphasized that a constructive diplomatic process cannot exist without a stable framework on the ground. He explained that successful negotiations require a minimum level of secure space for international representatives to operate. Therefore, inconsistent messaging and changing demands from Western entities disrupt the trust needed to sustain peace efforts.

In addition to these structural communication challenges, officials highlighted recent military strikes as major destabilizing factors. Baghaei specifically pointed out that frequent ceasefire violations in Lebanon by Israeli forces severely damage the diplomatic process. Moreover, recent American retaliatory actions near critical maritime routes have exacerbated friction, further complicating multinational mediation initiatives.

The Foreign Ministry reiterated that the use of unauthorized force fundamentally undermines lawful international mediation. Because of these escalating developments, Iranian authorities maintain that military maneuvers and political negotiations remain deeply interconnected. Thus, the state remains prepared to protect its strategic assets while analyzing the shifting political landscape.

International mediators from neighboring nations continue to urge all involved parties to exercise immediate restraint. However, the current cycle of tactical responses creates significant hurdles for the long-term diplomatic process. Moving forward, the survival of the fragile regional framework depends heavily on establishing consistent compliance from all signatories.
