The Iranian armed forces expanded their regional retaliatory campaign early Monday through a series of coordinated aerial operations. Officials in Tehran confirmed that the latest Iranian army drone strikes hit multiple assets utilized by American personnel. This major military development marks a direct response to recent American cross-border operations inside southern Iran.

According to an official press release, the unmanned platforms successfully hit several high-value tactical targets. The operations intentionally focused on active air defense units and sophisticated missile defense networks. Furthermore, the aerial units targeted protective troop shelters and critical logistical support infrastructure. Defense analysts indicate that these selections aim to degrade American operational capabilities along the Persian Gulf.

Military commanders emphasized that these specific Iranian army drone strikes operate independently from guards corps missions. While the elite guards corps previously hit assets in neighboring countries, the regular army executed this mission. Consequently, the defense ministry stated that international law justifies these actions as legitimate self-defense.

The recent spike in violence stems from Western operations that directly impacted critical maritime infrastructure. Recent Pentagon directives resulted in heavy damage to transportation networks and local fishing fleets. Furthermore, the strikes destroyed commercial cargo vessels and regional meteorological facilities. Tehran strongly argues that these actions violate the core principles of the United Nations Charter.

Severe friction persists regarding the legal administration and safety of the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian diplomats accused Washington of destabilizing the vital global shipping corridor through unauthorized naval interventions. Therefore, the Iranian Foreign Ministry warned that foreign bases turn neighboring states into active conflict zones.

Kuwaiti defense authorities confirmed that national air defense networks engaged multiple hostile aerial targets on Monday. Meanwhile, the United States Central Command announced the completion of its own wave of precision strikes. This volatile situation has effectively halted recent diplomatic progress aimed at reducing geopolitical tensions across West Asia.
