Iranian officials issued a strongly worded statement on Monday regarding the widespread destruction across the country. The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, medical facilities, key transportation routes, and other essential public services. Officials emphasized that strategic military objectives cannot justify the human suffering caused by disruptions to basic public infrastructure.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei addressed journalists during his weekly press briefing in the capital. He highlighted the severe emotional toll on families coping with damaged supply routes and disrupted healthcare services. Baghaei also referred to the reported bombing of an elementary school in the southern city of Minab. Official Iranian statements described the incident as a deliberate and unjustifiable attack on schoolchildren.

The statement comes amid escalating regional tensions and ongoing military operations. Military strikes have reportedly targeted transportation bridges, utility facilities, and telecommunications infrastructure. These disruptions have significantly affected local commerce, emergency medical access, and the movement of civilians across several provinces.

International humanitarian law prohibits deliberate attacks on civilian objects during armed conflict. Human rights organizations continue to monitor the growing humanitarian impact of damage to critical infrastructure and logistics networks. Meanwhile, economic analysts warn that damaged roads and bridges are placing additional pressure on local supply chains and market distribution.

As diplomatic channels remain under severe strain, the Iranian Foreign Ministry reiterated its condemnation of the strikes while maintaining its position on national defense and state sovereignty. International observers continue to urge all parties to pursue diplomatic engagement to prevent further civilian harm and regional economic instability.
