Major General Mostafa Izadi addressed media representatives on Monday during a formal press recognition ceremony. The senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander assessed recent regional military operations and strategic defensive measures. Furthermore, General Izadi emphasized that effective operational planning enabled successful defense while using minimal resources. Consequently, defense analysts view these assessments as important indicators of regional military capabilities.

Hostile coalition forces initiated a 39-day military conflict involving extensive aerial and naval operations. In response, Iranian armed forces conducted defensive countermeasures across multiple strategic sectors. Specifically, military leaders reported intercepting more than 200 adversary aircraft during the conflict. Meanwhile, regional resistance forces maintained defensive positions against advancing hostile military divisions across several fronts.

General Izadi praised journalists as key commanders in the field of soft warfare within the modern media landscape. Furthermore, he said media professionals effectively countered opposing psychological operations and neutralized coordinated information campaigns. Consequently, strategic communication efforts helped prevent internal destabilization while reinforcing public resilience throughout the crisis. Therefore, military leaders consider media coordination an essential element of the broader national defense strategy.

Following 39 days of intense military exchanges, the participating sides reached a tentative ceasefire agreement. Subsequently, diplomatic representatives negotiated a mediated memorandum of understanding aimed at halting active hostilities. The agreement sought to restore maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and ease regional tensions. However, ongoing disputes over compliance continue to complicate long-term diplomatic efforts among regional powers.

Looking ahead, Iranian defense officials emphasize long-term strategic patience and internal administrative stability. Furthermore, regional commanders assert that economic pressure and naval blockades will fail to weaken domestic resolve. Ultimately, Iran’s military leadership maintains that cost-effective defense strategies will continue to guide future operational planning.
