Iranian Health Ministry Public Relations Director Hossein Kermanpour updated the casualty figures following recent American airstrikes on Thursday. Consequently, official health channels confirmed 18 fatalities and 142 injuriesresulting from widespread regional bombardments.

Statistics provided by public health authorities showed that women and children accounted for a significant number of the victims. Specifically, the casualty reports confirmed that the deceased included two adult women and one child.

Medical teams treated 61 injured women across regional emergency departments following the strikes. In addition, healthcare workers admitted 44 patients under the age of 18 who required immediate medical treatment.

Emergency medical facilities across the affected provinces deployed specialized surgical teams to treat severe blast injuries. Meanwhile, provincial health centers distributed critical medical supplies to maintain operational readiness at local treatment facilities.

Military tensions escalated sharply after initial American air operations targeted strategic coastal installations earlier this week. In response, regional defense forces launched retaliatory drone and missile strikes toward overseas targets.

International humanitarian observers expressed growing concern over civilian casualties in urban areas affected by the strikes. Consequently, medical organizations urged all parties to protect civilians and essential healthcare facilities.

Public health officials continue monitoring emergency departments as rescue teams clear debris from affected locations. Ultimately, government ministries are coordinating efforts to support affected families while managing the ongoing medical response nationwide.
