Araghchi outlined Iran’s stance on U.S. negotiations, emphasizing the country’s internal stability and control over recent regional developments. He rejected claims about the health of Iran’s Supreme Leader, stressing that the situation remains fully managed. U.S. negotiations, he said, must consider Iran’s security priorities and regional responsibilities.

In a recent interview, Araghchi confirmed that Iran’s leadership is in good health and that domestic affairs are well-handled. He also highlighted Tehran’s readiness to coordinate with regional partners to clarify the objectives of recent military actions. Consequently, the country seeks structured dialogue rather than unilateral interventions.

Araghchi stressed that Iran’s military operations focus solely on U.S. bases and assets in the region. He added that no cultural or residential sites in neighboring countries have been targeted. This clarification addresses regional concerns about potential civilian harm.

Furthermore, Araghchi noted that the U.S. has developed drones similar to Iran’s Shahed models, reportedly used in recent attacks on several Arab nations. He also suggested that Israel could have targeted civilian sites in Arab countries to disrupt Iran’s regional relations. These developments underscore the complexity of U.S. negotiations.

Regarding strategic locations, Araghchi warned that any attack on Iran’s oil shipping lanes would trigger accountability measures against U.S. companies operating in the region. He also described control over Kharg Island, Iran’s main oil hub, as a critical priority, emphasizing that miscalculations could escalate tensions.

On the Strait of Hormuz, he clarified that Iran’s strategic measures apply universally, except for U.S. ships and allied vessels. This statement signals Iran’s commitment to securing essential maritime routes while deterring unauthorized interference.

Internally, Araghchi confirmed that Iran maintains political cohesion and stable governance, with no divisions between government institutions and armed forces. He also emphasized that Iran continues diplomatic engagements with neighboring countries, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. These efforts aim to strengthen regional stability amid ongoing challenges.

Experts suggest that Araghchi’s statements may influence international negotiations, highlighting Iran’s focus on security, sovereignty, and regional coordination. U.S. negotiations remain delicate, and clarity on preconditions could determine the next steps in resolving tensions. Analysts will closely monitor whether dialogue leads to concrete agreements or escalates into further regional standoffs.

Ultimately, Araghchi’s comments underscore that Iran prioritizes internal stability, careful regional engagement, and structured diplomacy. U.S. negotiations, he reiterated, require mutual respect, clear guarantees, and a shared understanding of regional security.
