Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said Tehran will not allow the United States to decide when war begins or ends. He stressed that Iran will continue defending its national interests and security based on its own decisions. His remarks reflected Tehran’s position as regional tensions remain high.
Baghaei made the comments during his weekly press conference in Tehran on Monday. He answered questions about reported diplomatic efforts involving Pakistan and Qatar to support negotiations between Iran and the United States. Furthermore, he emphasized that Iran’s decisions would remain independent of outside pressure.
