Iran condemns Israel’s recent seizure of Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei called the move a blatant violation of international law. By registering Palestinian lands as “state property,” Israel shows clear disregard for Palestinian rights. Baghaei highlighted that the confiscation worsens the suffering of Palestinians. Many already face displacement, economic hardship, and limited access to their resources. He also urged the international community to act immediately to protect Palestinian rights. Furthermore, he emphasized that Palestinians must live in dignity and exercise self-determination.

According to Baghaei, “The Israeli authorities’ move violates international law and basic human rights.” He described these actions as illegal and criminal. They deepen the occupation and reduce the chance of peace in the region. At the same time, he warned that failure to respond would embolden further violations. The spokesman pointed out that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and most countries have already condemned Israel’s actions. Therefore, he called on the United Nations to act decisively and hold Israel accountable. Baghaei stressed that global solidarity is essential to prevent escalation. It will also help support Palestinians in their legitimate struggle.

Iran’s statement comes amid ongoing land confiscation and settlement expansion in the West Bank. Observers note that these measures violate multiple UN resolutions. They also threaten the possibility of a two-state solution. Consequently, he said, international pressure must increase to protect regional stability. Reaffirming Iran’s support for the Palestinian cause, Baghaei urged all nations to act collectively to ensure justice. He emphasized the need to uphold human rights. Palestinians must control their lands and resources without fear of unlawful expropriation or displacement.

Finally, Baghaei concluded that Iran condemns these actions and will continue monitoring developments in the West Bank. Iran will also advocate for international measures. “The world must see that these land confiscations are part of a broader strategy threatening regional peace and security,” he said. In addition, he called on the UN and other international bodies to act quickly. They must hold Israel accountable and protect Palestinians from further injustice.
