The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned recent statements from Israeli officials regarding the Golan Heights. Tehran officially reaffirmed that the strategic territory remains an inseparable part of Syrian sovereign land. Furthermore, Iranian diplomats criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for declaring permanent control over the occupied territory.

The official statement firmly rejected Israeli opposition to creating an independent Palestinian state. Consequently, Iran emphasized that local populations hold full rights over their historical homeland despite external ambitions. Meanwhile, Tehran specifically denounced Colombia for recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the disputed Golan Heights region.

Iranian officials labeled this foreign policy decision a clear violation of established international law. Historically, Israel captured the territory during the 1967 war and later enacted full annexation measures. However, major international bodies continuously view the strategic area as occupied territory under military rule.

Iran urged the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibility regarding regional security. Specifically, diplomats demanded immediate international intervention to stop ongoing military operations across West Asia. Moreover, Tehran criticized Western nations for providing diplomatic and military assistance to the Tel Aviv regime.

Officials argued that continuous Western backing enables further expansionism and worsens broader regional instability. As a result, Muslim nations face growing legal obligations to support Palestinian self-determination initiatives active today. Ultimately, the Ministry concluded that global powers must defend international treaties against illegal territorial gains.

Moving forward, regional observers expect continued diplomatic tension surrounding territorial disputes across the Middle East. Consequently, international organizations will likely monitor future policy decisions from governments regarding Syria and Palestine. Therefore, the Iranian government vows to maintain its firm commitment to supporting regional sovereignty movements.
