Iran’s retaliation warning has become central after Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf vowed Iran will respond firmly to any U.S. or Israeli attacks. He stated that targeting Iranian infrastructure will trigger a proportional “eye-for-an-eye” response across the region. Moreover, Ghalibaf emphasized that threats to Iran’s energy and service facilities will not go unanswered. He warned that attacks aiming to paralyze daily life in the country will be met with immediate retaliation.

According to Ghalibaf, Iran will target key U.S. and Israeli infrastructure if its own facilities are attacked. He insisted that no act of aggression will remain unanswered, stressing Iran’s defensive capabilities. The warning comes as reports indicate the U.S. and Israel may plan strikes on Iran’s power plants and oil and gas production facilities. Such attacks would aim to disrupt daily life, escalate tensions, and foster unrest within Iran.

Furthermore, Iran has already conducted retaliatory strikes on U.S assets in Persian Gulf countries. These actions have affected oil and gas production and transportation through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital global energy route. As a result, disruptions have contributed to rising energy and commodity prices worldwide, sending shockwaves through international markets. Experts note that further escalation could significantly affect regional stability and global supply chains.

Iranian authorities have also signaled that more extensive counterattacks could target regional oil and gas facilities, as well as water desalination plants. Consequently, such measures could halt energy production and disrupt daily life across multiple countries. Analysts warn that the confrontation may increase geopolitical and economic risks. In addition, prolonged tensions could destabilize regional security, strain diplomatic relations, and continue driving volatility in energy markets.

Ghalibaf’s statements reflect Iran’s clear policy of proportional response. They aim to deter further attacks while asserting Tehran’s strategic and defensive posture. Looking forward, diplomats anticipate ongoing exchanges of warnings and rhetoric between Tehran, Washington, and Tel Aviv. Observers caution that any miscalculation could trigger additional military incidents. For now, Iran’s retaliation warning remains the dominant message from the Iranian leadership. Officials underline that aggressive acts against Iranian infrastructure will face immediate and decisive countermeasures.
