Iran Sharjah Flights have officially restarted, months after the recent conflict in June. The first commercial flight left Tehran on Monday morning. The flight departed from Imam Khomeini International Airport at 10:30 a.m. local time. This restart signals a return to normal travel between Iran and the UAE.

Hormatollah Rafiei, head of Iran’s Association of Air Travel and Tourism Agencies, spoke to reporters about the reopening. He said the resumption shows progress after a difficult period. The conflict had affected public sentiment and the country’s economy. Rafiei emphasized that reopening the route is a step toward recovery in both travel and business.

One Iranian airline led the way in restarting the flights. The airline now connects Tehran with Sharjah, one of the busiest and most popular destinations in the region. Flights to Sharjah are now available from five Iranian cities: Tehran, Lar, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, and Ahvaz. This new schedule provides travelers with more options and flexibility.

The airline has scheduled 14 weekly flights. Rafiei expressed hope that this regular service will continue and expand further in the future. He added that these flights are expected to support tourism and strengthen Iran’s aviation sector. Travelers and businesses are likely to benefit from the renewed connection.

Iran Sharjah Flights will also help people reconnect with family and business partners abroad. The route is a key link for trade and tourism in the Gulf region. Officials hope the success of these flights will encourage other airlines to expand routes and improve services.

Regional travel is gradually returning to normal after months of disruption. Overall, the restart of Iran Sharjah Flights brings optimism for travelers, businesses, and the tourism sector. It marks a significant step toward rebuilding international travel.
