Iran and UAE Boost Cooperation for Regional Stability

Iran and the United Arab Emirates are working to expand their cooperation. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that Iran wants to improve ties for the benefit of both countries. Lana Nusseibeh, UAE Minister of State, visited Tehran to attend the second meeting of the Political Consultations Committee. She met with Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, on Monday evening.

During their meeting, Nusseibeh expressed satisfaction with the discussions and described the talks as productive and constructive. She highlighted the UAE’s goal to strengthen relations with Iran across many areas, especially trade and the economy. She also welcomed the renewed diplomatic engagement between Iran and the United States in Muscat. The minister said the UAE actively supports regional stability, security, and efforts to reduce tensions.

Araghchi highlighted the strong and broad ties between Iran and the UAE. He said Iran wants to develop these relations further for mutual benefit and that both countries will gain from closer cooperation. The officials discussed regional and international issues. They stressed that dialogue and diplomacy are essential to ensure peace and security in the region. They agreed that regular consultations and contacts between the two nations will maintain lasting cooperation.

Araghchi praised regional countries for their efforts to reduce tensions.
