Tehran and Washington finalized a historic agreement on Monday to end their military conflict permanently. The Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council in Tehran officially announced the finalization of the text. This development marks a major breakthrough after months of intense diplomatic friction and active direct hostilities. The agreement demands an immediate cessation of all operational combat campaigns across every regional theater.

The finalized Iran-US Memorandum of Understanding specifically secures a permanent end to military actions in Lebanon. According to the official state statement, the comprehensive maritime encirclement of the country will terminate concurrently. Diplomatic teams finalized this diplomatic text in Islamabad following an intensive multi-month cycle of indirect mediation. Pakistani and Qatari officials actively facilitated these delicate closed-door discussions to bridge severe gaps between both sides.

A formal signing ceremony for the historic Iran-US Memorandum of Understanding will take place this Friday. Both foreign delegations plan to meet in Switzerland to execute the formal diplomatic protocols publicly. However, Iranian officials clarified that wider bilateral talks will not resume until initial terms are fulfilled. The government plans to measure initial western compliance before scheduling subsequent rounds of technical negotiations.

Global energy markets reacted immediately as oil futures dropped following the sudden diplomatic de-escalation announcement. United States officials confirmed the lifting of operational restrictions surrounding the vital Strait of Hormuz waterway. Meanwhile, regional defense analysts remain cautious regarding how local actors will adapt to the new framework. This diplomatic milestone reshapes the strategic equilibrium across the entire Middle East after a highly destructive period.
