Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, warned about a possible regional war if the U.S. attacks. He said Iran will not start a war. However, any aggression will face a strong response. He repeated the term regional war three times to stress the seriousness of the threat. Khamenei said the U.S. often threatens Iran with war. He added these threats will not weaken the Iranian people. According to him, America wants to control Iran, but the nation resists. He described the long U.S.-Iran confrontation as rooted in America’s desire to dominate Iran and its resources.

He said the U.S. once had almost everything in Iran, including oil, politics, and influence. Khamenei claimed Washington wants to return to that situation. However, the Iranian people remain determined to protect their independence. He recalled Imam Khomeini’s return to Iran and the end of the monarchy as a sign of national courage. The leader highlighted two major achievements of the Islamic Republic. First, it replaced autocratic rule with people-led governance. Second, it promoted Islamic principles over previous anti-religious policies. He said challenges remain but the country has strengthened its religious and national identity.

Khamenei praised Iran’s scientific and technological progress. He said this growth comes from renewed national confidence. He added that Iranian youth are hopeful and determined to shape the nation’s future. He also said recent unrest was influenced by foreign powers, including the U.S. and Israel. Millions who rallied nationwide represented the true Iranian people. The leader warned that hostility toward Iran will continue while it remains independent. He stressed that security is essential for economic, scientific, and social progress. Khamenei concluded by repeating that Iran will not attack first. But any act of aggression will result in a regional war, which could escalate quickly.
