Iranian musician Ali Ghamsari stand at Damavand Power Plant demonstrates both patriotism and artistic dedication. Moreover, he declared he would stay at the facility to create music while supporting the nation. Consequently, his presence symbolizes protection for the energy supply powering nearly 40 percent of Tehran.

In a video message, he explained that he will work independently, avoiding political factions, while staying in solidarity with the Iranian people. Furthermore, he stated, “With my tar, I will become a shield for the electricity of 40 percent of Tehran.” Therefore, his actions underline his commitment to safeguarding vital infrastructure amid ongoing attacks.

Ghamsari has a long history of social activism. Nevertheless, he stresses that his critiques of domestic challenges do not weaken his patriotism. In addition, he warned that attacks on industrial facilities and bridges are intentionally designed to push Iran backward. Moreover, he expressed concern about further infrastructure damage and its consequences for ordinary citizens.

He also addressed recent tragedies, including unrest in Minab. After mourning the victims, he added that silence is no longer an option. Consequently, Ghamsari concluded that the Iranian people, drawing on historical resilience, will overcome these challenges through unity and inner guidance.

Ghamsari’s career spans decades. Initially, he founded the band Sarmad at 18. Later, he formed the Hamnavazan-e Hesar Ensemble and the Iranian String Quartet. At 22, he gained recognition for composing Naghsh-e Khiyal with Homayoun Shajarian. Since then, he has produced over 15 albums and collaborated with singers such as Alireza Ghorbani, Mohammad Motamedi, and Vahid Taj. Additionally, he has performed internationally, including in France, Morocco, Spain, the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Russia, and Canada.

Recent attacks on Iran’s infrastructure have escalated tensions. For example, US-Israeli forces struck a bridge in Karaj, targeting civilian utilities. Analysts describe these operations as part of a broader campaign against Tehran’s electricity and water systems. Furthermore, former US leaders, including Donald Trump, publicly called for destroying Iran’s industrial facilities, which increased fears of widespread damage.

Experts warn that attacks on energy and water infrastructure could disrupt daily life. Therefore, officials stress the need to protect power plants and other critical assets to maintain stability. Consequently, Ghamsari’s stand may inspire more civic engagement and cultural resilience as Iran faces ongoing threats.

The Ali Ghamsari stand illustrates a unique blend of cultural influence and national defense. In addition, his actions resonate with citizens and show the role of artists in raising public awareness. Moreover, this stand highlights the potential of creative voices to support vital societal functions.
