Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf made a bold statement on Wednesday. He declared that ultimate victory will transform Iran into a global powerhouse, for this victory would come from winning the devastating US-Israeli war. The country will become a key international actor, and this achievement would reshape Iran’s global standing completely.

Ghalibaf released an audio message to local news agencies, where he insisted that Iran will reap enormous economic benefits from winning the brutal conflict. Ultimate victory will transform Iran’s material and spiritual progress dramatically. The parliament speaker reluctantly acknowledged that people have suffered severely, yet war hardships and crippling economic difficulties have affected countless Iranian families.

The top parliamentarian stressed that the country desperately needs unity now. Solidarity, he warned, is more important than ever before. Iranians must make painful sacrifices, he said, so these difficult sacrifices will facilitate the nation’s arduous progress toward victory. Thus, ultimate victory will transform the country’s fate for generations.

The seasoned politician led a delegation to Islamabad talks, and those tense negotiations occurred on April 11 and 12. Pakistan had mediated a fragile ceasefire earlier that month, for the ceasefire halted the US-Israeli aggression against Iran temporarily. However, the talks collapsed disastrously due to U.S. maximalist demands.

Washington’s demands were utterly unreasonable, since the U.S. wanted a humiliating deal on its own terms. Iranian authorities rejected those harsh conditions outright, and the war of aggression had begun in late February. Since then, Iran has faced overwhelming military and economic pressure.

The parliament speaker addressed U.S. economic warfare tactics, for Washington hopes its suffocating naval blockade will break Iran. The U.S. wants the Iranian people to rebel against their government, but history proves Iranians withstand tremendous pressure. Therefore, they fiercely protect their country’s dignity and sacred religious values.

The audio message came amid ongoing ceasefire tensions, yet the U.S. naval blockade continues despite the fragile truce. Iran keeps the Strait of Hormuz closed to enemy vessels, and the country firmly controls this strategic waterway. Consequently, a decisive military victory would drastically change the regional balance.

Ghalibaf urged all Iranians to help one another, for he said cooperation will lead to victory with less suffering. Great accomplishments naturally come with painful hardships, but the nation must endure these harsh challenges together. Ultimately, ultimate victory will transform Iran’s destiny for generations.

Former Iranian officials have echoed similar sentiments, and the country has survived previous devastating wars and crippling sanctions. Iran’s steel industry continues producing despite relentless attacks, while oil exports remain steady despite the suffocating naval blockade. Thus, this hard-earned resilience would pay off magnificently in a final victory.

The coming months will test Iran’s endurance further, yet diplomatic efforts may resume through Pakistani mediation. However, U.S. demands remain a formidable obstacle, for Iran insists on lifting the naval blockade first. Therefore, a true victory would completely transform the negotiation dynamics in Tehran’s favor.
