Iran’s embassy in Beirut condemned Israeli attacks on Lebanon, calling them a serious threat to peace. Israeli warplanes hit several locations, including al-Rihan Heights, the al-Jbour area, and Wadi Berghoz. In one incident, an airstrike between Khirbet Selem and Kafardounin killed a civilian and wounded five others. Additionally, another strike in Dardghaya, in the Tyre district, claimed a second civilian life.
The embassy stressed that these actions breach Lebanon’s territorial integrity. In addition, officials noted that repeated strikes violate UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and ceasefire agreements. They added that attempts to normalize such aggression will not succeed.
