The leadership message reaction dominated Tehran newspapers on Saturday. Editors, political figures, and commentators analyzed a reported message attributed to Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei regarding the recent Iran-US agreement. The statement drew widespread attention because it appeared to clarify the internal decision-making process behind a major diplomatic development.

According to newspaper reports, Mojtaba Khamenei initially held a different position on the agreement. However, he later allowed its approval after President Masoud Pezeshkian accepted responsibility for implementing it. Consequently, many newspapers featured the message on their front pages and discussed its implications in editorials.

Reformist and centrist publications emphasized the agreement’s potential opportunities. Several commentators argued that it could begin a new phase in Iran’s domestic and foreign affairs. Moreover, they said political consensus could improve implementation and strengthen national unity.

Mohammad Ghouchani, a senior member of the Executives of Construction Party, called the agreement an important turning point. He said cooperation between state institutions and elected officials could help Iran navigate political and economic changes.

Hossein Marashi urged political factions to avoid repeating disputes that affected earlier international agreements. He questioned whether parties would support the new arrangement or undermine it through political rivalry.

Conservative commentators focused on accountability and oversight. They said officials should monitor implementation carefully and protect national interests throughout the process. In addition, some analysts argued that diplomacy should complement national strength.

The debate remains significant because the agreement follows months of political discussion and regional uncertainty. Looking ahead, officials are expected to focus on implementation measures, diplomatic commitments, and compliance mechanisms. Although opinions remain divided, the leadership message reaction continues shaping debate over the agreement’s future and its impact on Iran’s policy direction.
