Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian commended national athletes and academic champions for securing prestigious international victories. The president highlighted how sports achievements foster hope at home while strengthening national solidarity during challenging times. Furthermore, he emphasized that young citizens continue to demonstrate exceptional determination across international athletic and scientific arenas.

Iranian sports delegates secured 52 total medals during the recent Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan. Female athletes delivered historic performances after collecting three gold, seven silver, and five bronze medals. Consequently, Pezeshkian noted that providing equal opportunities enables female competitors to excel at the global level.

In a separate official statement, the president celebrated the national astronomy and astrophysics Olympiad team. The Iranian student delegation won the world championship for the third consecutive year in Vietnam. Competing against 320 students from 66 nations, the team secured five gold medals.

Pezeshkian urged government educational institutions to expand dedicated financial support for talented young scientific researchers. In addition, administrative agencies must guarantee equal development opportunities for youth across all geographical regions. Proper institutional support allows these scholars to apply their research directly to domestic industrial progress.

National leaders view athletic victories and academic honors as vital catalysts for long-term domestic advancement. Moving forward, executive ministries plan to increase infrastructure investment across national sports academies and scientific foundations. Ultimately, state officials aim to leverage youth achievements to promote sustained economic and social growth.
