Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi issued a clear warning about the country’s military response. He emphasized that Iran will act decisively against any form of aggression. Araqchi shared his message on X, addressing recent statements suggesting possible attacks against Iran. He stressed that the nation’s armed forces remain ready at all times. “Our brave Armed Forces are prepared—with their fingers on the trigger—to respond immediately and strongly to any aggression,” Araqchi said. He added that lessons from the 12-Day War have strengthened Iran’s defensive capabilities. These experiences allow the military to react faster and more effectively than ever.

Araqchi underlined that Iran prefers dialogue over conflict. He said the country remains open to a fair and balanced nuclear deal. “We welcome a nuclear agreement that respects Iran’s rights to peaceful technology,” he said. He also insisted that Iran will not develop nuclear weapons under any circumstances. The foreign minister’s statement highlighted a balance between deterrence and diplomacy. He made it clear that Iran seeks peace but will not compromise its security. “Military response is not our choice but our duty when faced with threats,” he noted. Araqchi repeated that Iran’s defense readiness is strong and unwavering.

He also explained that past conflicts taught Iran valuable lessons. These lessons help guide the armed forces in responding rapidly and effectively. Araqchi emphasized that Iran’s military response aims to protect land, air, and sea territories without hesitation. At the same time, Iran wants cooperation and negotiation. Araqchi stated that a nuclear deal must be free from threats and coercion. The country seeks a mutually beneficial agreement that ensures security for all. He insisted that Iran has never sought nuclear weapons and has no intention to do so.

By linking defense readiness with a willingness to negotiate, Araqchi sent a dual message. Iran remains firm on protecting its sovereignty while keeping channels open for peaceful agreements. Military response, he reiterated, is both a warning and a guarantee of protection. The foreign minister concluded by stressing that Iran will always defend its land and people. He warned that any aggression would be met with a swift and powerful reaction.
