The Tehran bombardment intensified overnight as a series of air and missile strikes hit the Iranian capital during the eighth day of escalating conflict. Residents across Tehran reported loud explosions throughout the night, with aircraft heard flying over several districts. Videos shared on social media showed flashes of explosions and plumes of smoke rising above parts of the city.

Several areas in and around the capital were reportedly targeted, including sites believed to be linked to military and defense activities. Witnesses said some of the loudest explosions occurred near Mehrabad International Airport, which is located close to important military facilities.

Iranian authorities have not released official casualty figures and have not confirmed the exact locations struck. However, local reports suggested that several military compounds near Tehran may have been hit. Strikes were also reported in other parts of the country. Facilities in central provinces, including areas near Isfahan, were reportedly targeted as the attacks spread beyond the capital.

Naval and defense-related locations along the Persian Gulf coast were also affected. Reports indicated explosions near Bushehr and Bandar Abbas, both of which host strategic naval and energy infrastructure. Authorities warned citizens not to record or share images from the strike locations. Police and judicial officials said distributing such footage could threaten national security and assist foreign intelligence services.

Iranian officials also sent messages to neighboring countries stressing that Tehran does not intend to attack regional states. However, military leaders warned that Iran would respond if other countries supported attacks on its territory. Analysts say the expanding Tehran bombardment raises fears of a wider regional conflict as military exchanges continue.
