Hamas has congratulated Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei on his election as the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution. Following the assassination of his father, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, this leadership transition highlights the resilience of Iran’s system.

Moreover, Mohammad Darwish, head of Hamas’s leadership council, sent an official message praising the smooth leadership transition. He noted that the orderly process occurred despite security threats after the U.S.-Israeli attack. Consequently, he emphasized that enemies’ plans will not destabilize the Islamic Republic.

Darwish affirmed confidence in Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei’s ability to guide the revolution. Furthermore, he stressed that the new Leader will maintain the path set by his late father. In addition, Hamas considers this leadership transition crucial for preserving the revolutionary system and resisting external pressures.

He also highlighted expectations for continued Iranian support for the Palestinian cause. Notably, he reassured that the new Leader will back the Palestinian people and their resistance efforts. As a result, decades-long political and material support are expected to continue. Meanwhile, the Palestinian struggle will persist until victory is achieved.

Darwish expressed condolences to the late Leader’s family. Additionally, he called his father’s sacrifices emblematic of devotion and commitment to the Islamic cause. He warned that the attackers’ actions would fail, and the martyrs’ sacrifices would inspire further resistance.

Experts suggest this leadership transition may strengthen Iran’s regional influence. Moreover, Hamas’ public support signals ongoing coordination with allied groups. Analysts add that this alignment could affect future negotiations and regional dynamics in the Middle East.

Observers expect Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei to reinforce domestic stability and foreign policy continuity. Furthermore, Hamas’s statement confirms that cooperation with Palestinian groups will continue. Therefore, the leadership transition represents both consolidation and renewed commitment to regional strategies.

Political analysts note that this leadership transition demonstrates the importance of institutional resilience during crises. In conclusion, Hamas’s congratulations reflect both solidarity and expectations for sustained support for Palestine.
