Iran missile strikes intensified as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a new phase of its ongoing campaign. The latest wave targeted strategic locations across Israel, signaling a significant escalation. The development highlights growing regional tensions and raises concerns about broader conflict risks. The IRGC said the operation marked the 79th wave of its “True Promise 4” campaign. Officials stated that the strikes penetrated layered air defense systems. They claimed missiles and drones hit intelligence facilities and logistical centers in Tel Aviv, Beersheba, and surrounding areas.

According to IRGC statements, forces used Kheibar Shekan, Emad, and Sejjil missiles. In addition, the IRGC Aerospace Force deployed advanced drones. These systems reportedly targeted military support centers in Ramat Gan and the Negev Desert. Officials also pointed to a logistics hub in Beersheba as a primary objective. Furthermore, the IRGC claimed visible damage followed the strikes. It cited smoke plumes and disruptions across multiple areas. Officials also said millions of civilians sought shelter during the attacks. However, independent verification of these claims remains limited.

Meanwhile, Israeli defense systems, including the Iron Dome, continue to intercept incoming threats. Defense analysts note that layered systems often reduce impact, yet sustained barrages can test their limits. Therefore, repeated waves may increase pressure on interception capacity. In parallel, the Pentagon has monitored the situation closely. U.S. officials have not confirmed the extent of reported damage. However, they continue to assess regional security risks and force readiness.

Experts say Iran’s missile strikes reflect a shift toward sustained, high-volume engagements. They argue that missile diversification and drone integration enhance operational reach. At the same time, they warn that escalation could disrupt energy markets and regional trade routes. Additionally, investors track geopolitical developments due to potential oil supply impacts. The Middle East remains critical to global energy flows. Therefore, prolonged instability may influence prices and shipping costs.

Looking ahead, analysts expect continued exchanges unless diplomatic channels reopen. Regional actors may increase defensive coordination in response. Meanwhile, global stakeholders call for restraint to prevent further escalation. In summary, Iran’s missile strikes underline a volatile security environment. The latest operation demonstrates evolving military tactics and rising strategic stakes.
