Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company Chief Executive Officer Morteza Dehghan outlined extensive post-war reconstruction efforts nationwide. Consequently, the state aviation authority managed rapid technical repairs across 27 war-damaged airport facilities.

According to Dehghan, the conflict damaged essential flight operation infrastructure at various operational levels. Furthermore, precision strikes affected vital runways, taxiways, passenger terminals, safety buildings, and navigation equipment.

The government immediately prioritized air transport restoration to reactivate broader economic sectors following the hostilities. Therefore, technical teams focused on strict safety standards while repairing damaged flight surfaces and navigation systems.

Specialized aviation engineers also worked to evacuate critical control tower equipment to safe temporary locations. Consequently, these rapid protective measures helped technical teams restore essential airspace monitoring systems.

Meanwhile, domestic knowledge-based companies collaborated closely with state engineers to manufacture replacement components locally. Indeed, these partnerships accelerated facility recovery while reducing reliance on foreign technical support.

To finance major reconstruction projects, the company introduced new private-sector investment frameworks. Specifically, management adopted Build-Operate-Transfer and Build-Own-Operate models to secure sustainable funding for future projects.

Navigation authorities also upgraded national airspace monitoring by installing advanced secondary surveillance radar systems. Moving forward, these modernized tracking networks will strengthen the safety and reliability of commercial air corridors.

Despite significant structural losses, civil aviation officials restored operational capabilities across all affected regional transportation hubs. Consequently, the restored infrastructure will continue supporting broader economic recovery across essential sectors.
