Iran and China Ties Strengthened Through Strategic Partnership

Tehran recently hosted a distinguished ceremony celebrating the founding of the People’s Republic of China, emphasizing China Iran ties. The event underscored the growing strategic partnership between the two countries. Moreover, senior Iranian officials and numerous diplomats attended, demonstrating Tehran’s commitment to closer bilateral relations.

During the ceremony, the Chinese Ambassador to Tehran addressed the audience and highlighted China’s economic achievements. He explained that stable growth, technological innovation, and environmental protection remain central to China’s development. For example, China leads globally in manufacturing, 5G infrastructure, renewable energy, and new-energy vehicles. Therefore, these accomplishments indicate potential areas for collaboration between the two nations.

Ambassador Cong Peiwu also emphasized that China Iran ties strengthen both countries and promote regional and global stability. Additionally, he referenced President Xi Jinping’s Global Governance Initiative, highlighting China’s commitment to international cooperation and multilateralism. Consequently, Iran welcomed these initiatives as opportunities to enhance global fairness and justice.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Sattar Hashemi, praised the long-standing China Iran ties and the countries’ shared vision of technological and digital cooperation. He noted the historical Silk Road connections and emphasized how they now underpin a comprehensive strategic partnership. Furthermore, Hashemi stressed the importance of fully implementing the 25-year cooperation program to guide future projects.

The ceremony included a special video highlighting Iranian journalists participating in China’s international press program, showcasing growing cultural and professional exchanges. This initiative further strengthens people-to-people connections, complementing governmental and economic collaboration. Guests concluded the evening at a reception featuring Chinese and Iranian cuisine, which fostered dialogue and reinforced friendship. In addition, the event received extensive media coverage, promoting awareness of the China Iran ties and their strategic significance.
