Esmaeil Baghaei, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, said Iran strongly condemns Israeli attacks on Lebanon. He stated that Israel continues to target Lebanese citizens. Baghaei described the attacks as violent and harmful. Israel has also used toxic chemicals on Lebanon’s farmland. These actions damage the environment and threaten public health.

Since November 2025, Israel has repeatedly violated ceasefires. Hundreds of Lebanese citizens have been killed or injured. Infrastructure and homes have suffered severe damage. Baghaei called these actions an unprecedented war crime. He said the Israeli attacks Lebanon campaign destroys both the environment and people’s livelihoods. Farmers lose crops, families lose daily income, and communities face long-term harm.

Baghaei urged the United Nations to act. He said the world must hold Israel accountable for its attacks on Lebanon. Immediate international intervention is necessary to stop further harm. He also criticized countries that guarantee ceasefires but fail to respond to Israel’s actions. The spokesman said the United States and France must take responsibility. Their support or inaction makes them accomplices in the crimes.

Baghaei stressed that ongoing Israeli attacks Lebanon campaigns show a need for stronger international measures. He highlighted that civilians continue to face life-threatening dangers every day. The Iranian statement called for urgent action to prevent future violence. The spokesman repeated that Israel’s actions are a serious violation of human rights and international law.

He concluded that the international community cannot remain silent. Protecting Lebanese citizens and their environment must be a priority. Iran continues to monitor the situation and urges immediate steps to stop the attacks. The country reaffirms its support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and safety.
