Tehran highlighted its strategic strength after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed sending a message through Russian President Vladimir Putin. Iranian officials welcomed the communication but stressed the nation’s right to defend itself in the Iran conflict. Netanyahu reportedly said Israel does not seek to escalate tensions with Tehran. Analysts in Iran interpreted the message as recognition of Iran’s growing military capabilities and deterrence power.

The message follows a major confrontation that began on June 13, 2025, when Israel launched an unprovoked attack on Iranian territory. The 12-day conflict caused significant casualties, including senior commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. Tehran responded with precision strikes on high-value sites in Israel.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps conducted coordinated missile and drone operations across 22 waves. Key targets included the Kirya military complex in Tel Aviv and air bases such as Tel Nof and Ovda. Experts say the strikes forced Israel to halt its attacks and underscored Iran’s strategic deterrence. During the conflict, U.S. forces intervened, targeting Iranian nuclear facilities and deploying THAAD interceptors. Tehran condemned the strikes as violations of international law and warned against foreign interference in the region.

Analysts in Iran note that Netanyahu’s public acknowledgment signals recognition of Iran’s defense capabilities. They argue Israel’s restrained approach validates Tehran’s deterrence strategy and defensive posture. Political analysts add that the Iran conflict has strengthened Tehran’s regional credibility. Officials stress that Israel’s caution highlights Iran’s ability to deter external aggression effectively.

Looking ahead, Iranian leaders emphasize vigilance and readiness to respond to any threats. Tehran also called on the international community to respect its sovereignty and ensure regional stability. Analysts note that the Iran conflict has broader implications for diplomacy, security, and military strategy in the Middle East. The Iran conflict continues to influence Middle East dynamics. Experts say Israel’s restraint, combined with Tehran’s defensive strength, may shape future negotiations, security planning, and regional alliances.
