Iranian Foreign Minister to Visit Turkey to Boost Cooperation

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will visit Turkey to hold Iran Turkey talks on regional and bilateral issues. Furthermore, these talks aim to improve security, trade, and stability in the region. Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will meet Araqchi to discuss the long-standing relationship between the two countries. In addition, he will emphasize that Iran Turkey talks remain vital for regional peace and cooperation. Fidan plans to highlight historical ties and shared interest in stability. During the meetings, both ministers will focus on trade.

Fidan will stress the goal of increasing bilateral trade to $30 billion. Moreover, they will explore new mechanisms to improve trade, including border trade centers and joint projects in energy, transportation, and connectivity. Fidan will also show Turkey’s support for Iran’s security and stability. He will further oppose any military interventions in Iran and encourage dialogue as a solution. Strengthening peace in Iran benefits both countries. The ministers will also discuss nuclear issues. Fidan will express Turkey’s support for a peaceful resolution of Iran’s nuclear program. Additionally, he will offer assistance where needed and highlight the importance of regional cooperation to maintain security.

The talks will address terrorism and regional unrest. Fidan will point to PKK and PJAK activities. As a result, he will stress the need to neutralize these threats to protect Iran’s security and regional stability. Iran Turkey talks will also cover humanitarian efforts in Gaza. Turkey wants aid to reach people on the ground and supports reconstruction to allow safe living conditions. Meanwhile, both countries plan to cooperate and act in solidarity to maintain peace.

Finally, Syria will remain a key agenda topic. Fidan will stress the importance of maintaining the ceasefire and protecting Syria’s unity. In addition, he will discuss preventing gaps in handling ISIL prisoners and reinforcing regional stability. Overall, the visit highlights Turkey’s interest in expanding cooperation with Iran. Iran Turkey talks aim to strengthen trade, security, and regional peace, thereby building a path toward long-term stability.
