Iran Starts Strong With 4-1 Victory Over Malaysia

Mohammadi prevented Malaysia from equalizing with strong goalkeeping. Firdaus Ambiah broke through Iran’s defense, but Mohammadi stopped him in the fifth minute. Later, Salar Aghapour fired two dangerous shots, but Malaysia’s goalkeeper Syaifuddin Syukri kept the score close. Hossein Tayebi also struck the post before halftime.

Moslem Oladghobad added another goal in the 28th minute to give Iran a strong lead. Malaysia scored a late goal through Awalluddin, but it was not enough to change the outcome. The victory gave Iran full points in the group and showed their determination to defend the title.
