Iran warned on Thursday that it could introduce a new military strategy if the United States continues targeting southern Iranian infrastructure. Iranian military officials said the armed forces have prepared additional operational plans to respond to any further escalation. Moreover, they stressed that military readiness has increased following recent regional developments.

Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, spokesman for the Iranian Army, said the conflict had entered a different stage after what he described as a violation of the ceasefire memorandum. Therefore, he stated that Iranian military operations would continue while attacks against the country’s infrastructure and coastal regions persisted.

Akraminia said military planners had developed several new operational scenarios to discourage additional attacks. However, he declined to provide specific details and explained that authorities would announce future measures when necessary. He added that Iran could expand its military response into new operational areas if conditions required further action.

The spokesman also highlighted improvements in combat preparedness during the recent ceasefire period. According to him, military units used that time to strengthen defensive capabilities, improve coordination, and increase operational efficiency. Furthermore, he praised the morale and determination of air force and air defense personnel.

Addressing possible future military developments, Akraminia said Iran prepares for every potential security scenario without making assumptions about an opponent’s actions. He argued that ground operations would create different military conditions than long-range strikes or aerial attacks. Consequently, Iranian forces continue updating operational plans to address multiple forms of conflict.

The latest comments come as regional security concerns remain elevated across the Middle East. Military activity involving strategic infrastructure and coastal areas has increased uncertainty for governments, energy markets, and international shipping. Analysts note that continued instability could affect commercial trade routes and investment confidence throughout the region.

Defense experts believe public military statements also serve strategic communication purposes during periods of heightened tensions. Meanwhile, governments across the region continue monitoring developments while assessing possible diplomatic and security responses. Future events will likely depend on military decisions, diplomatic engagement, and broader regional efforts aimed at preventing further escalation.
