Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian outlined clear peace conditions for ending hostilities with the United States and Israel. Peace Conditions focus on recognition of Iran’s legitimate rights, reparations, and international guarantees against future aggression. Pezeshkian announced phone conversations with Russian and Pakistani leaders. He emphasized that Tehran will only accept resolutions that fully acknowledge its fundamental rights.

The president described the ongoing conflict as initiated by what he called the Zionist regime and the United States. He said any meaningful solution requires accountability and binding assurances to prevent further attacks. Pezeshkian’s statements were shared on the social media platform X, where he framed Iran’s position as firm yet focused on regional stability. His outreach to Moscow and Islamabad reflects Tehran’s broader diplomatic efforts amid escalating tensions.

The conflict escalated sharply after joint U.S.-Israel operations targeted Iranian positions on February 28. According to Iranian authorities, over 1,200 people have died, including senior officials, and more than 10,000 sustained injuries. Iran has responded with missile and drone strikes against Israeli targets and U.S. military facilities in Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations. These actions have disrupted global energy markets and increased fears of wider regional instability.

However, analysts say Pezeshkian’s Peace Conditions aim to strengthen Iran’s negotiating position internationally. By seeking reparations and security guarantees, Tehran hopes to deter future attacks while projecting diplomatic leverage. Regional powers are watching the conflict closely. Türkiye, for instance, monitors developments along its eastern and southern borders, balancing security concerns with its economic and political ties in the region. Experts warn that without engagement from major powers, the conflict could widen.

Therefore, continued strikes and retaliations may destabilize neighboring countries and further disrupt energy trade. Pezeshkian indicated that Iran remains committed to regional peace, provided the Peace Conditions are met. Officials suggest that multilateral discussions could follow if the U.S. and Israel respond constructively. The situation remains tense, with both sides showing little sign of de-escalation. Observers expect Iran’s Peace Conditions to remain central in diplomatic talks and any potential ceasefire negotiations.
