Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held multiple high-level phone calls this week, reinforcing the country’s commitment to diplomacy, sovereignty, and regional stability. The Iran unity call with Saudi Arabia and other neighbors emphasized cooperation and peaceful solutions. During a conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Pezeshkian thanked Riyadh for its support during the recent Israeli attacks. He also highlighted the Kingdom’s help in ensuring safe travel for Iranian pilgrims whose flights were disrupted by the crisis.

Pezeshkian explained that Iran’s missile strike on the U.S. base in Qatar directly responded to American involvement in the attacks on Iranian territory. He stressed that Iran had no alternative but to respond firmly to protect its sovereignty. He warned that the United States and Israel attempt to divide Muslim nations, while Iran remains dedicated to unity and regional development. Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran’s openness to peaceful agreements and dialogue within international law.

Crown Prince Mohammed confirmed Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the Israeli assaults and underscored the Kingdom’s refusal to allow its airspace or bases for operations against Iran. He acknowledged Iran’s security concerns and called for renewed diplomatic engagement with Washington. In another Iran unity call, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim expressed full support for Iran’s right to defend itself. Both leaders discussed Israel’s attacks and emphasized the importance of upholding international norms. Anwar criticized nuclear double standards and praised Iranian resilience.

President Pezeshkian also spoke with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The leaders highlighted Iran’s peaceful intentions, respect for neighboring sovereignty, and commitment to regional cooperation. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed dialogue and encouraged stronger collaboration among Gulf nations. Finally, Pezeshkian held a conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. They discussed the ongoing regional crisis, emphasizing unity among Muslim nations. Sharif condemned foreign aggression and stressed resolving disputes through diplomacy to secure lasting stability.

These Iran unity call discussions reflect Tehran’s strategy to strengthen ties with neighboring countries while asserting its sovereignty. Experts say these efforts aim to reduce tensions, prevent further escalation, and foster long-term regional development. Looking ahead, Iran plans continued engagement with regional partners. Leaders hope diplomatic channels can ensure collective security and economic cooperation while deterring foreign interference.
