The Iran volleyball team will travel to Russia this summer to play friendly matches. This trip gives players important experience before international competitions. The Russian Volleyball Federation officially invited the Iran volleyball team to participate in these games. Head coach Roberto Piazza approved the trip. The team will travel to Ufa on August 22 and 23. Ufa has hosted major volleyball events, including matches of the FIVB Men’s Nations League. This history makes the city ideal for preparation.

During their visit, the team will play multiple friendly matches. These games will help players improve teamwork, strategy, and overall performance. Coaches will watch players closely and make tactical adjustments as needed. Russia may also invite other national teams at the same time. If confirmed, the matches could form a small multi-nation tournament. Facing different opponents will help the team adapt to varying playing styles.

The Iran volleyball team has trained hard since early in the year. Players focus on physical fitness, tactical drills, and coordination exercises. Friendly matches in Russia will test these skills under real-game conditions. The experience will increase confidence and strengthen teamwork. Coach Piazza emphasized the importance of international exposure. Competing abroad allows players to learn new strategies and adapt quickly. These matches provide a chance to gain practical experience before major competitions.

The visit also strengthens volleyball ties between Iran and Russia. Both federations plan events to improve the sport and create opportunities for players. Fans eagerly await the matches and strong performances from the Iran volleyball team. As the trip nears, the team will finalize its roster. Training and friendly matches will continue to prepare players for the challenge. Overall, these games give players a platform to grow, gain experience, and build confidence for future international competitions.
