Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei announced the news in a televised interview, for this marks a new diplomatic phase.
Baghaei clarified that Iran’s proposal focuses only on ending the war, and the plan contains nothing about Iran’s nuclear program. “There are absolutely no details regarding nuclear issues,” he said. The spokesman dismissed recent media reports about the plan’s contents, yet he called those claims fabricated. Therefore, Reviewing the U.S. Response requires careful attention to these facts.
The 14-point plan centers on halting U.S.-Israeli aggression, so it also aims to stop hostilities across the region. Baghaei said nuclear issues belong to previous negotiations, but those talks happened before the war began. The U.S. and Israel attacked Iran on February 28. Tehran was in diplomatic talks with Washington at that time, yet the attacks assassinated Iran’s Leader and targeted nuclear facilities.
