Forty days later, the war ended with the United States accepting Iran’s 20-point resolution.

Born in Mashhad, Ayatollah Khamenei combined religious scholarship with social activism from childhood. He opposed the West-backed Pahlavi regime and spent time in prison for his revolutionary efforts. After the 1979 Islamic Revolution, he served as president and led during the Holy Defense war, inspiring young fighters and civilians alike.

Military experts stress that Ayatollah Khamenei’s guidance strengthened Iran’s defense. He worked directly with commanders on missile and drone development and integrated artificial intelligence for strategic operations. His leadership transformed Iran into a producer of globally competitive military hardware.

Beyond defense, Ayatollah Khamenei prioritized governance, civic participation, and economic resilience. Initiatives like “Economic Jihad” and “Resistance Economy” encouraged domestic production, reduced oil dependence, and strengthened national stability. Analysts note these policies safeguarded Iran from external pressures while promoting long-term growth.

Culturally, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized Persian literature, poetry, and Islamic values. He hosted poet gatherings to shape national identity and authored works on jurisprudence, Qur’anic studies, and governance. He also championed women’s empowerment, viewing them as vital to society. He celebrated achievements in science, politics, and health while maintaining family and societal values. His approach combined religious principles with social advancement, expanding opportunities for women across multiple fields.
