The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement condemning recent American airstrikes on a residential wedding ceremony in Kuhestak, Sirik County. Consequently, Iranian military commanders accused U.S. forces of attempting to deny the deliberate targeting of civilians during recent coastal operations.

The official military statement cited previous U.S. military interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Yemen to highlight recurring civilian casualties. Furthermore, Iranian defense officials claimed that foreign military operations had previously struck civilian gatherings and family wedding ceremonies.

According to Iranian military authorities, recent American bombardments affected nearly 70 people across several southern provinces. Specifically, official casualty figures reported four fatalities and seven critically injured people currently receiving emergency medical treatment.

Military spokespersons accused Washington of avoiding direct accountability for airstrikes that also hit areas of Minab, Lamerd, and Qeshm Island. Therefore, senior Iranian officers called on international organizations to investigate reported damage to civilian infrastructure across southern coastal areas.

Local rescue officials in Hormozgan reported four fatalities, including a child, and more than 60 injuries in Kuhestak. Meanwhile, independent geographic assessments indicated that the damaged residential site was located about 110 meters from a communications tower.

U.S. military representatives denied intentionally targeting civilians during recent aerial operations in southern Iran. Instead, American officials said precision strikes targeted IRGC military facilities and air defense infrastructure.

Geopolitical analysts warn that escalating confrontations along Iran’s southern coast could threaten international shipping routes through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. Ultimately, diplomatic observers expect heightened military readiness as regional forces respond to continuing attacks on strategic infrastructure.
